Tabitha’s Housing

NEXT STEP: A Life of Renewed Hope:

Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Philippians 1:6 NIV.

Your journey starts here. We know through first-hand experience how difficult it is to overcome Homelessness, Domestic Violence, and Human Trafficking, that can stop us from living the lives that God has planned for us:

Tabitha’s Housing was founded by Pastor Nina Tidwell, to give Women the opportunity to overcome these issues, a place to begin the process of Healing and break our former destructive lifestyles and move forward with a Fresh New Start! (Pastors Rick and Nina and their family along with many volunteers have served over 35,000 meals to the homeless and those in need since 2014.)

What We Offer:

Tabitha’s Housing provides a safe place for Women, and believe it is the Next Step: God’s plan to continue His Good Work in you, with a Biblically sound program, led by Pastor Nina Tidwell, introducing you to Jesus Christ and the Love of God; a God of Healing and Restoration.

Pastor Nina will share her own personal journey  that led her to be free from addiction and destructive relationships and lifestyle. Her prayer and Goal is to help you take the next necessary steps to a Life of independence; a Life of Renewed Hope.

Pastor Nina has a desire to not only provide a Home, but a Family, with opportunities many would not have in any other environment, where she is involved daily in sharing the Love of God with you.

Just like Legacy House, our home for age out foster girls, each resident of Tabitha’s Housing will live free, and is required to work  and / or enroll in classes at a local college or trade school, we will then help you learn how to manage your resources in order to help you become independent.

As she grabbed my hand, she turned away from the crowd, and with tears said, “I’m done with this life, I want off the streets!”

This is the cry of many women who have lived on the streets, bound by homelessness, often associated with addictions, domestic violence and Human Trafficking.  HUMAN TRAFFICKING HOTLINE phone number:

In 2015 studies estimated there are 565,000 homeless in the USA on any given night – 40% (nearly half) are Women.

The Leading cause of Homelessness among Women and Families is Domestic Violence.

The following is an excerpt from the National Human Trafficking Hotline, titled: The Victims:

AND THE LORD SAID…

While standing in the kitchen, the Lord spoke to me and said, “I Love the Homeless Women just as much as I love the orphan. They have been crying out to Me for a very long time.” He then proceeded and said, “I have a home for them and I have put people in place with the resources to do it.” And then He said something I’d never heard Him say to me before: “Thank you for continuing to help them.” And I thought, Lord, you’re thanking me? And encouraged me to keep sharing the Vision.

The LORD replies, “I have seen violence done to the helpless, and I have heard the groans of the Poor. Now I will rise up to Rescue them, as they have longed for me to do.”
Psalm 12:5
